This must be one of the most exciting and enjoyable projects I've worked on. Not just because of the title alone but due to the challenges of developing the game while the film was still in production and the way we managed to work alongside the external team (Virgin Interactive) who were creating the original SNES and Sega MegaDrive versions.
I was tasked with taking the majority of SNES assets that were delivered and recreating them for the Gameboy and NES machines.
I also had to recreate frame by frame the animations of all the characters within the game.
Any other graphics we wanted to put into the game such as loading screens or level introductions I had to create on paper first to get them approved by Disney and then recreate them on the computer for the game.
